SellBuyMe, LLC — A Delaware Limited Liability Company

SellBuyMe, LLC (“SellBuyMe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to being transparent about how we handle your information. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the rights and choices you have. It applies to all Members and visitors who use the SellBuyMe website, mobile application, and all related features and services (collectively, the “Platform”). The Platform includes the SellBuyMe marketplace, calculator tools (the Buyer’s Calculator, Seller’s Calculator, and Savings Calculator, collectively “Platform Tools”), and informational and educational content (“Resources”), as further described in the Terms of Service. The intellectual property underlying the Platform is owned by SellBuyMe IP, LLC and licensed to SellBuyMe, LLC.

Please read this Policy carefully. By using the Platform, you consent to the data practices described here. This Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: information you give us directly, information we collect automatically, and information from third parties.

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, password, and any other information provided when you create or update your account.
Listing Information (Sellers): Property address, photographs, description, asking price, property features, and any disclosures or other details included in your Listing.
Buyer Activity: Search criteria, saved searches, showing requests, and inquiries submitted to Sellers.
Showing Coordination Data: Scheduling information and communications exchanged between Buyers and Sellers in connection with arranging property tours.
Platform Tool Inputs: Financial and property data you enter into any of the Platform’s three calculator tools — the Buyer’s Calculator, Seller’s Calculator, and Savings Calculator — which are available to all Members and visitors regardless of role. This may include home value estimates, mortgage balances, purchase prices, down payment figures, income figures, concession amounts, and similar inputs. This data is used to generate your requested output. Individual inputs are not retained in identifiable form beyond your session unless saved to your account. SellBuyMe may also introduce additional tools in the future; inputs to any such future tools are covered by this same provision. SellBuyMe may retain and use Platform Tool input data in de-identified and aggregated form for business intelligence, market analysis, and product development purposes described in Section 2.7.
Service Provider Engagement Data: Inquiries, contact requests, and information you submit when requesting an introduction to a Preferred Service Provider (“PSP”) through the Platform.
Communications: Messages, emails, and other communications you send to SellBuyMe or through Platform messaging features.
Feedback and Survey Responses: Responses to optional surveys, user interviews, or product feedback requests.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

Log Data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps.
Usage Data: Features and tools used, Listings viewed, searches performed, showing requests initiated, time on page, and clickstream data.
Device Data: Device type, screen resolution, device identifiers (where permitted by applicable law), and network connection type.
Location Data: General location inferred from your IP address. If you grant permission, we may collect more precise location to surface nearby Listings. You may revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings.
Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies, pixel tags, and local storage to operate the Platform, recognize returning Members, and analyze usage. See Section 6 for details.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

Authentication Providers: If you log in via a third-party service (e.g., Google, Apple), we receive your name, email, and profile photo as permitted by your settings with that provider.
Identity Verification Provider: SellBuyMe uses Stripe, Inc. and its Stripe Identity service to facilitate mandatory identity verification for certain Platform features. When you complete identity verification, Stripe collects and processes your identity documentation and related personal information directly. SellBuyMe receives a verification result (e.g., verified or not verified) and associated metadata such as verification timestamp and session identifier. SellBuyMe does not receive or store the underlying identity documents or biometric data you submit to Stripe. Stripe’s collection and use of your information is governed by Stripe’s own privacy policy. See Section 5B for additional detail on identity verification data.
Third-Party Data Providers: The Platform uses third-party data provider APIs, currently including Homesage.ai, to power property valuation estimates, automated valuation models (“AVMs”), market trend data, renovation cost estimates, rental income projections, and investment analytics. SellBuyMe reserves the right to change, replace, or supplement Data Providers at any time without notice. When the Platform retrieves data for a property, the property address or identifier may be transmitted to the applicable Data Provider. Data Providers’ handling of transmitted data is governed by their own privacy practices.
PSPs: PSPs accessible through the Platform may share information with us about interactions with you, such as whether you completed an inquiry or engagement, solely as necessary to operate the Platform.
Public Records: We may access publicly available property records and tax assessor data to supplement or verify Listing information.
Analytics Partners: We may receive aggregated or de-identified information from analytics providers to understand Platform usage trends.
Outbound Marketing and Prospecting Data: Prior to and following Platform launch, SellBuyMe may obtain contact information and related personal data about prospective users — including potential Buyers and Sellers — from third-party data providers, public records, and commercially available data sources for the purpose of outreach, marketing solicitation, and brand awareness activities. Information obtained from these sources may include name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and property ownership information. Individuals who receive outbound communications from SellBuyMe as a result of this prospecting activity have the right to opt out of future communications at any time as described in Section 10.5. SellBuyMe uses such data solely for marketing outreach purposes and does not share it with third parties for their independent marketing use.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 To Operate the Platform

Create, maintain, and authenticate your account;
Facilitate and record mandatory identity verification through our third-party verification provider, and gate access to applicable Platform features based on verification status;
Display Listings and enable Buyer searches;
Operate Platform Tools (Buyer’s Calculator, Seller’s Calculator, Savings Calculator, and any future tools) and deliver Resources;
Facilitate communications and showing coordination between Buyers and Sellers;
Facilitate introductions to PSPs based on your activity and preferences;
Power property data features using third-party Data Provider APIs;
Display analytical tool outputs based on Data Provider data and your inputs;
Send transactional communications including account confirmations, showing reminders, and account activity notices.

2.2 To Improve and Develop the Platform

Analyze usage patterns and feature performance;
Conduct research and development for new tools and features;
Perform internal analytics, troubleshooting, and quality assurance;
Monitor Data Provider integration quality and output accuracy.

2.3 To Facilitate PSP Connections

When you initiate contact with or consent to an introduction to a PSP through the Platform, we may share relevant information about you with that PSP to facilitate the connection. The scope of information shared will be appropriate to the type of service requested and your expressed intent in initiating contact. We do not share your information with a PSP without a Member action or consent that reasonably indicates your interest in that connection. See Section 4.2 for details.

2.4 For Safety and Security

Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, and policy violations;
Monitor for and respond to security incidents;
Support Member safety in connection with property showings and in-person interactions.

2.5 For Legal Compliance

Comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal process, or governmental requests;
Enforce our Terms of Service and other policies;
Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

2.6 For Communications and Marketing

By providing your contact information to SellBuyMe through any means — including account registration, waitlist signup, contact forms, referral links, calculator use that captures your data, or any other Platform touchpoint — you consent to receive marketing and promotional communications from SellBuyMe on an ongoing basis. SellBuyMe reserves the right to market and solicit to any individual who has provided their contact information, for as long as that individual has not submitted a valid opt-out request, including after account closure or transaction completion. Specific marketing uses include:

Send product updates, feature announcements, and Platform news;
Send marketing and promotional communications to registered Members and prospective users unless and until an opt-out request is received;
Conduct outbound marketing and solicitation activities directed at prospective users who have not yet registered for the Platform, using contact information obtained from third-party data providers and public records as described in Section 1.3;
Send push notifications and in-app messages to registered Members in connection with Platform activity and, where applicable, marketing communications;
Support Promotional Partner and influencer marketing programs, including tracking referrals, affiliate activity, and campaign performance;
Notify you of changes to our Terms or this Privacy Policy.

SellBuyMe will honor opt-out requests within ten (10) business days as required by the CAN-SPAM Act and applicable law. Opting out of marketing communications does not affect your receipt of transactional, account-related, or legally required communications, which SellBuyMe may send regardless of marketing preferences.

2.7 For Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Strategic Development

SellBuyMe collects and retains platform activity data and, where permitted, de-identified and aggregated versions of Member-provided data, for a broad range of internal business purposes. These purposes include, without limitation:

Internal business intelligence and performance analysis, including understanding Platform usage patterns, feature adoption, listing activity, search behavior, inquiry and conversion rates, and Member engagement trends;
Real estate market analysis, including aggregated data on listing prices, days on market, geographic demand patterns, price range activity, and transaction trends across markets where the Platform operates or plans to operate;
Strategic planning and market expansion decisions, including evaluating new geographic markets, assessing demand for new features or PSP categories, and informing Platform growth strategy;
Investor and partner reporting, including providing aggregated and de-identified platform metrics, growth statistics, transaction volume data, and market performance indicators to current and prospective investors, joint venture partners, and strategic partners;
Product and feature development, including using behavioral data and aggregated inputs to design, prioritize, test, and refine new Platform features, tools, and services, including tools and services that may be offered in the future and that do not currently exist;
Benchmarking and competitive analysis, using aggregated and de-identified Platform data to understand SellBuyMe’s performance relative to market conditions;
Training and improving analytical models and tools, including using de-identified and aggregated data to improve the accuracy and relevance of the Buyer’s Calculator, Seller’s Calculator, Savings Calculator, valuation tools, and any future Platform Tools;
Fulfilling obligations under partnership or commercial agreements that require reporting of aggregated platform performance data.

All use of Member data for the purposes described in this Section 2.7 is conducted on a de-identified and aggregated basis where the data originated from individual Member inputs. SellBuyMe does not use individually identifiable financial tool inputs, personally identifiable search history, or individually identifiable behavioral data for commercial sale, external publication, or any purpose that would allow a third party to identify an individual Member. Platform activity data that is inherently non-personal — such as aggregate search volume by zip code, aggregate listing price distributions, or aggregate feature usage rates — may be used and shared without restriction.

3. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA and UK Members)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing your personal data include: contract performance (to provide Platform services to you); legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, Platform improvement, where not overridden by your rights); legal obligation; and consent (where explicitly obtained and as described in this Policy). SellBuyMe is based in the United States; your data may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. Where required by applicable law, we implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

4. How We Share Your Information

SellBuyMe does not sell your personal information to third parties. We share your information only as described in this section. Where this section refers to SellBuyMe’s right to license, share, or commercialize data, that right applies exclusively to aggregated and de-identified data that cannot reasonably be used to identify any individual Member, and does not constitute a “sale” of personal information under applicable privacy law.

4.1 With Other Members

Certain information is visible to other Members as part of normal Platform operation:

Sellers: Your Listing information, including property address, photographs, description, price, and any contact information you choose to display, is visible to Buyers and Platform visitors.
Buyers: When you send an inquiry or showing request to a Seller, your name, contact information, and the content of your message are shared with that Seller.
Both parties: Scheduling and communication data related to arranged property showings is visible to the relevant Buyer and Seller.

You are responsible for the information you include in Listings, messages, and public-facing profile elements. SellBuyMe is not responsible for how other Members use information you voluntarily share through the Platform.

External Sharing of Listing Information. Sellers may choose to share their Listing information — including property address, photographs, description, and price — through External Channels outside the Platform, such as personal social media accounts, third-party real estate websites, classified platforms, and community boards. When a Seller shares their Listing through any External Channel, that information leaves SellBuyMe’s systems and SellBuyMe has no control over how it is used, displayed, stored, or further shared by any third party. SellBuyMe is not responsible for the privacy practices of any External Channel or for any use of Listing information that occurs outside the Platform. Sellers are solely responsible for any personal information they include in their Listing and for the consequences of sharing that information through External Channels.

4.2 With Preferred Service Providers

When you initiate contact with, request an introduction to, or consent to being connected with a PSP or affiliated joint venture entity through the Platform, we may share information about you with that party to the extent reasonably necessary to facilitate the introduction or fulfill your request. The scope of information shared will be appropriate to the type of service requested and your expressed intent in initiating contact.

SellBuyMe may maintain various commercial arrangements with PSPs, including lead generation agreements, referral arrangements, and, in the future, potentially other commercial structures. Regardless of the structure of SellBuyMe’s commercial relationship with any PSP or joint venture entity: (i) that party is legally distinct and independent from SellBuyMe, LLC; (ii) once your information is shared with a PSP or joint venture entity, that party’s use of your information is governed by their own privacy policy and applicable law, not this Privacy Policy; and (iii) SellBuyMe is not responsible for the data practices of any PSP or joint venture entity after your information has been disclosed. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any PSP before engaging their services.

The categories of PSPs accessible through the Platform may expand over time. This section applies to all current and future PSP connections facilitated by the Platform, regardless of category, without requiring amendment to this Policy.

4.3 With Infrastructure and Technology Service Providers

We share information with third-party vendors who help us operate the Platform, including cloud hosting and database providers, email and SMS platforms, analytics providers, customer support software, and authentication services. These vendors are contractually required to process your information only as directed by us and to maintain appropriate security measures.

4.3A With Promotional and Marketing Partners

SellBuyMe may share limited, aggregated, or de-identified data with Promotional Partners, affiliate marketers, and marketing service providers for purposes of campaign performance tracking, referral attribution, and marketing analytics. This may include aggregated metrics such as app download rates, referral conversion rates, and campaign attribution data. SellBuyMe does not share individually identifiable Member personal data with Promotional Partners for their independent marketing use without your explicit consent. Any compensation or referral tracking data shared with Promotional Partners is aggregated or anonymized to the extent practicable.

4.4 Business Transfers

If SellBuyMe is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, financing, corporate restructuring, or similar transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change as required by applicable law.

4.5 Legal and Regulatory Disclosures

We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to enforce our Terms, prevent fraud, or protect the safety of our Members or the public.

4.6 Aggregated, De-Identified, and Platform Activity Data

SellBuyMe may use, share, publish, and commercialize aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized data derived from Member activity and Platform operations, provided such data cannot reasonably be used to identify any individual Member. This includes, without limitation:

Sharing aggregated platform performance metrics, growth statistics, and market activity data with current or prospective investors, lenders, or acquirers in connection with fundraising, financing, due diligence, or strategic transactions;
Sharing aggregated market trend data, listing activity statistics, and platform usage metrics with joint venture partners, PSPs, or other commercial partners as part of performance reporting under applicable commercial agreements;
Publishing market intelligence reports, trend analyses, or research based on aggregated and de-identified Platform data;
Licensing aggregated and de-identified market data to third parties, provided such data cannot reasonably identify any individual Member;
Using aggregated and de-identified data in press releases, marketing materials, investor presentations, and public communications about SellBuyMe’s business.

For the avoidance of doubt, SellBuyMe’s right to use aggregated and de-identified data as described in this Section 4.6 and in Section 2.7 is not affected by a Member’s request to delete their personal data, because aggregated and de-identified data does not constitute personal data and cannot be attributed to any individual Member.

5. Information Related to Property Showings

Because SellBuyMe facilitates in-person interactions between Buyers and Sellers, we want to be clear about how showing-related data is handled.

5.1 What We Collect

In connection with property showings, we collect and retain showing request details (property address, requested date and time), communications between Buyers and Sellers related to scheduling, and, if offered in the future, any identity verification information voluntarily submitted by Members.

5.2 What Verification Is and Is Not

SellBuyMe requires Buyers and Sellers to complete identity verification through Stripe Identity before accessing certain gated Platform features, including publishing Listings and contacting other Members. This verification process confirms that a Member is who they claim to be based on the documentation submitted. It is not a background check, criminal history review, sex offender registry check, credit check, or comprehensive vetting of any kind. A verified status indicates only that a Member’s identity documentation was confirmed at the time of verification — it does not indicate that the Member is safe, trustworthy, or suitable to participate in any real estate transaction. SellBuyMe does not monitor, supervise, or record in-person property showings regardless of verification status.

5.3 Limitations

Showing-related data is provided solely to facilitate scheduling and communication. SellBuyMe cannot and does not guarantee the safety of any in-person interaction arranged through the Platform. See Section 7 of the Terms of Service for Member assumption of risk in connection with property showings.

5A. Embedded Preferred Service Provider Experiences

5A.1 What Embedded Experiences Are

Certain PSPs or affiliated joint venture entities may make available embedded application experiences within the Platform — for example, mortgage pre-qualification or loan application forms, insurance quote tools, or other financial service applications that appear within the SellBuyMe app or website. These embedded experiences are owned, operated, and controlled by the applicable PSP or joint venture entity, not by SellBuyMe, even when they appear within the Platform interface.

5A.2 SellBuyMe’s Role Is Limited to Transmission

When you enter information directly into an embedded PSP experience, that information is transmitted to the applicable PSP or joint venture entity. SellBuyMe acts solely as a technical conduit for such transmissions. SellBuyMe does not retain, copy, analyze, mine, or use for any purpose any information you enter into an embedded PSP experience, beyond what is technically necessary to facilitate the transmission itself. No information entered into an embedded PSP experience is used by SellBuyMe for marketing, profiling, product improvement, or any other SellBuyMe purpose.

5A.3 PSP Is the Data Controller

The PSP or joint venture entity receiving information through an embedded experience is the data controller for that information. Their collection, use, storage, and sharing of your information is governed exclusively by their own privacy policy and applicable law, not by this Privacy Policy. SellBuyMe’s privacy obligations do not extend to information once it has been received by the applicable PSP or joint venture entity. You are strongly encouraged to review the privacy policy of any PSP before submitting information through an embedded experience.

5A.4 Sensitive Personal Information

Embedded PSP experiences may request sensitive categories of personal information, including but not limited to Social Security numbers, income and employment information, asset and liability information, credit history, and government-issued identification numbers. SellBuyMe does not receive, access, or retain any such sensitive information entered into an embedded PSP experience. If you have concerns about submitting sensitive information through an embedded experience, you may contact the applicable PSP directly outside of the Platform to complete your application or inquiry.

5A.5 Technical Architecture

Where technically feasible, SellBuyMe designs embedded PSP experiences so that information you enter is transmitted directly from your device to the PSP’s systems without passing through or being stored on SellBuyMe’s servers. However, SellBuyMe cannot guarantee this architecture in all cases or for all PSP integrations. In all cases, any information that does transit SellBuyMe’s infrastructure in connection with an embedded PSP experience is transmitted in encrypted form, is not logged in identifiable form, and is not retained beyond the duration of the transmission.

5A.6 Transmission Failures

If a transmission to a PSP fails for any reason, any information associated with the failed transmission is discarded and not retained by SellBuyMe. You will be notified of the failure and may re-submit your information. SellBuyMe is not responsible for any loss of information resulting from a transmission failure.

5A.7 Transaction Confirmation Data — What SellBuyMe Receives and Does Not Receive

SellBuyMe may receive confirmation that a downstream transaction has occurred in connection with a PSP referral or affiliated joint venture entity introduction — for example, that a mortgage loan has closed, that an inspection has been booked, or that a service engagement has been completed. This confirmation data may include the fact of the transaction, the date, and information necessary to calculate or confirm revenue owed to SellBuyMe or an affiliated joint venture entity under applicable commercial arrangements.

SellBuyMe does not receive, access, store, or process any underlying payment information in connection with any such transaction. This includes, without limitation: payment card numbers; bank account numbers or routing information; loan disbursement amounts or mortgage payment details; closing settlement statements or HUD-1 data beyond what is necessary to confirm a transaction occurred; insurance premium payment details; or any other financial instrument data exchanged between you and any PSP or affiliated joint venture entity. All payment processing, loan origination, and financial instrument handling is conducted solely by the applicable PSP or affiliated joint venture entity under their own systems, controls, and privacy practices.

The fact that a transaction occurred, and any non-sensitive metadata associated with confirming that fact, may be retained by SellBuyMe for business intelligence, revenue reconciliation, and reporting purposes as described in Section 2.7. Such confirmation data does not include any financial instrument details and is not treated as sensitive personal information under this Policy.

5B. Identity Verification Data

5B.1 What SellBuyMe Receives from Stripe

When you complete identity verification through Stripe Identity, SellBuyMe receives a verification result and associated metadata from Stripe. This may include: verification status (verified or not verified); a session identifier linking the verification event to your account; timestamp of the verification event; and, where applicable, a reason code if verification was unsuccessful. SellBuyMe does not receive, access, or store the identity documents, photographs, biometric data, or other sensitive personal information you submit directly to Stripe during the verification process.

5B.2 How SellBuyMe Uses Verification Data

Verification result data received from Stripe is used solely to: determine and record your eligibility to access gated Platform features; display verification status to other Members where applicable; maintain a compliance record of verification events; and investigate suspected fraud or Terms violations. Verification result data is not used for marketing, profiling, data licensing, or any purpose unrelated to Platform access control and security.

5B.3 Verification Data Retention

SellBuyMe retains verification result metadata — including verification status, session identifier, and timestamp — for a minimum of five (5) years following the verification event, or for as long as your account remains active plus a reasonable period thereafter, whichever is longer. This retention period reflects SellBuyMe’s compliance and dispute resolution obligations. Stripe’s retention of the underlying identity documents and biometric data you submitted is governed by Stripe’s own privacy policy and data retention practices.

5B.4 Verification Status Displayed to Other Members

If SellBuyMe displays a verification indicator on Member profiles or Listings, that indicator reflects only that the Member completed the Stripe Identity verification process as of the date shown. It does not constitute an endorsement, background clearance, or safety guarantee by SellBuyMe. See Section 8A of the Terms of Service for the full identity verification framework.

5B.5 Stripe’s Privacy Practices

Stripe’s collection, use, storage, and sharing of information you submit through Stripe Identity is governed exclusively by Stripe’s privacy policy, available at stripe.com/privacy. SellBuyMe is not responsible for Stripe’s data practices. If you have questions or concerns about how Stripe handles your identity information, please contact Stripe directly.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

6.1 Types We Use

Strictly Necessary: Required for core Platform functionality such as session management and authentication. Cannot be disabled without impairing the Platform.
Performance and Analytics: Help us understand how Members use the Platform (e.g., Google Analytics). Data is collected in aggregated or de-identified form to the extent possible.
Functionality: Remember your preferences such as search filters and display settings.
Marketing: Used to deliver relevant advertisements and measure campaign effectiveness, where permitted by applicable law and your consent.

6.2 Your Choices

SellBuyMe provides mechanisms for managing cookie and tracking technology preferences, including through consent interfaces presented on the Platform and through your browser or device settings. You may refuse, delete, or limit certain cookies through these controls. Where required by applicable law, SellBuyMe will obtain consent before deploying non-essential tracking technologies. Disabling certain cookies may impair Platform functionality. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by applicable law. The specific consent mechanisms available to you may vary based on your jurisdiction and the version of the Platform you are accessing. SellBuyMe reserves the right to update its cookie management approach at any time to reflect changes in applicable law, technology, or Platform functionality.

7. Data Retention

Account Data: Retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure to comply with legal obligations.
Outbound Prospecting and Marketing Contact Data: Contact information obtained from third-party data providers and public records for outbound marketing and solicitation purposes is retained until a valid opt-out request is received from the individual, or until SellBuyMe determines in its sole discretion that retention is no longer necessary for business purposes, whichever occurs first. SellBuyMe is not obligated to delete prospecting data absent a valid opt-out request.
Identity Verification Data: Verification result metadata (status, session identifier, timestamp) retained for a minimum of five (5) years following the verification event. Underlying identity documents and biometric data submitted to Stripe are retained by Stripe pursuant to their own privacy policy; SellBuyMe does not hold this data.
Listing Data: Retained while active; archived following removal or sale completion for legal and operational purposes.
Showing and Transaction Records: Retained for up to seven (7) years following a completed or attempted transaction to support legal compliance and dispute resolution.
Platform Tool Inputs (Buyer’s Calculator, Seller’s Calculator, Savings Calculator, and any future tools): Not retained in identifiable form beyond your session unless saved to your account. De-identified and aggregated versions may be retained indefinitely for business intelligence, market analysis, and product development purposes as described in Section 2.7.
Log and Analytics Data: Retained in identifiable form for up to 24 months; may be retained longer in de-identified or aggregated form.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time, subject to our legal retention obligations. See Section 9 for your rights.

8. Data Security

9. Children’s Privacy

The Platform is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware of information inadvertently collected from a person under 18, we will delete it promptly. Contact support@sellbuymere.com if you believe we have collected a minor’s information.

10. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

10.1 Access and Portability

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you in a structured, machine-readable format.

10.2 Correction

You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information, or update it directly in your account settings.

10.3 Deletion

You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention obligations. Deleting your account will remove your Listings and may affect pending transactions or PSP engagements.

10.4 Restriction and Objection

Where permitted by applicable law, you may request that we restrict processing of your information or object to certain types of processing, including direct marketing.

10.5 Marketing Opt-Out

You may opt out of marketing communications from SellBuyMe at any time by: clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing email; replying STOP to any SMS marketing message; adjusting your notification preferences in your account or device settings; or contacting us at support@sellbuymere.com with your opt-out request. SellBuyMe will honor valid opt-out requests within ten (10) business days as required by applicable law, including the CAN-SPAM Act.

Opting out of marketing communications does not affect your receipt of: transactional communications necessary to operate your account or fulfill a service; account-related notices such as password resets, verification prompts, and account activity notifications; or communications required by law. SellBuyMe reserves the right to resume marketing communications if you re-engage with the Platform, create a new account, or otherwise provide your contact information again after a prior opt-out, unless you submit a new opt-out request.

10.6 California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended: Right to Know (categories, specific pieces, and sharing of personal information collected); Right to Delete; Right to Correct; Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing (SellBuyMe does not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising without consent); Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information; and Right to Non-Discrimination for exercising privacy rights. Where required by applicable law, SellBuyMe will treat a valid Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information for the browser or device from which the signal is sent. SellBuyMe’s recognition of GPC signals is limited to the requirements of applicable law and does not expand SellBuyMe’s obligations beyond what is legally required. To exercise your other California privacy rights, contact support@sellbuymere.com with the subject line “California Privacy Rights Request.” Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with appropriate documentation.

10.7 Other State Privacy Rights

Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and other states with comprehensive privacy legislation may have similar rights. Contact support@sellbuymere.com to exercise applicable rights. We will respond in accordance with the law of your state of residence.

10.8 How to Submit a Request

11. International Data Transfers

SellBuyMe is based in the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. Where required by applicable law, we implement appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, for international transfers. By using the Platform from outside the U.S., you acknowledge this transfer.

12. Third-Party Links and Integrations

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services, including Data Providers and PSPs. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party sites or services. Once you navigate to a third-party site or share your information with a PSP, their data practices are governed by their own privacy policy. We are not responsible for third-party data practices.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy periodically. We will communicate material changes via the Platform or by email to your registered address, with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Platform.
